It is a very ancient symbol, and the temple of Osiris in Abydos, Egypt, contains the oldest example of it found so far. Other examples can be found in some European countries, in China, Tibet, and Japan.
The Flower of Life contains a secret form, known as the 'fruit of life', which is composed of thirteen spheres that contain many mathematical and geometric laws. Leonardo da Vinci himself studied this symbol and applied its mathematical laws to his works.
