Traditional kapen representing the 8 auspicious symbols of the Buddhist tradition, machine embroidered on brocade.

Hanging this Kapen in your home or in shared spaces such as meditation rooms, offices and shops is a great blessing. Considered in Tibetan culture as a real good luck both in the material and in the spiritual, it helps to eliminate the obstacles on our spiritual path.

The 8 auspicious symbols are:
1)Parasol.  2) Golden Fish.  3)Treasure Vase. 4)Lotus.  5)Conch.  6)Auspicious or Endless Knot.  7)Victory Banner.  8)Dharma-Wheel or Dharmachakra.

These are believed to represent the gifts given by celestial beings to Buddha Shakyamuni on his attainment of Enlightenment or Buddhahood.

  • The Golden fishes:- symbolising being able to swim in the ocean of samsara
