A PROFOUND COMMENTARY ON THE TWO STAGES
Secret Revelations of Chittamani Tara is a commentary to the practice of both the generation and completion stages of the highest yoga tantra deity Chittamani Tara composed by Pabongkha Dechen Nyingpo. It is based on teachings that Gargyi Wangpo Takphu Dorje Chang received directly from Tara, and contains many profound oral instructions that are not easily found elsewhere. In addition to all the teachings unique to Chittamani Tara, Pabongkha Rinpoche has supplemented it with teachings from the Gaden Hearing Lineage as well as the general tantric teachings of the Gelug tradition. The completion stage section makes up nearly thirty percent of the commentary and is one of the most profound and practical discourses on the completion stage to be found anywhere in English translation.
Also included are the Chittamani Tara self generation sadhana, the ganachakra offering for Chittamani Tara, and three beautiful and moving praises and prayers to Tara composed by masters in the tradition.
