Nella tradizione tibetana le bandierine di preghiera si appendono all'aperto, in particolare nei luoghi sacri. Si crede che le preghiere e i mantra stampati sulle bandiere, con il vento che le attraversa, si diffondano nell'ambiente portando buona fortuna, guarigione e pace a tutti gli esseri.
Sistemare all'aperto le bandierine di preghiera aumenta la nostra energia vitale e revitalizza i cinque elementi che compongono il nostro corpo e l'intero universo. I loro colori sono: blu per rappresentare l'elemento spazio, verde per il vento, rosso per il fuoco, giallo per la terra e bianco per l'acqua.
Realizzate in Nepal in tessuto stampato, usando le tradizionali tecniche di stampa a blocco.
